Disney World Character Dining

Being able to have breakfast, your morning meal with Disney world characters is a big hit among Disney World visitors. In response to this, there has been a stunning increase in the variety of Disney World dining places providing this up close and personal experience. So now. during bites of scrambled eggs or bites of ribs at the evening meal, you and your family can hug, be photographed with or get autographs from any variety of Disney World figures, as they make their way around the tables.

Character dining may be found in all of the four major theme parks, as well as many of the Walt Disney World hotels. These Character Meals are all-you-can-eat and provided in one of three styles: buffet, family style or a pre-plated style.

Now as with much of what you will find at Walt Disney World, character meetings of this caliber, do not come cheap. Is it worth it? Only you may be the one to determine this, but if you have children or are just a big kid at heart, then you may want to seriously consider this.

Disney Character Dining Experiences

Now interacting with your preferred Disney Character Dining Experiences are a fantastic way to meet up with the characters, snap a few photographs, get an autograph and enjoy a great dinner or any meal, all at the same time.

There are twelve different Character Dining Experiences throughout Disney’s Theme Parks and Resorts. Each encounter has a host of characters and offers a wide selection of menu options.

Our customers have tried a few of the various places and say that their families are partial to the Crystal Palace, a Character Experience with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eyeore, located inside the Magic Kingdom.

These families also state that Chef Mickey’s to be a wonderful option to have breakfast with Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Contemporary Resort and Chef Mickey’s are at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Magic Kingdom. It is a definite must see for any Mickey fan.

Dining Preparation Tips

Due to the level of popularity of the Character Dining Experiences, it is recommended that you plan your visits very well in advance.

All of the Character Experiences accept advanced seat bookings and it is highly suggested that you do so as far as 90-Days in advance. Believe it or not, some of the experiences will be reserved solid, even if you call 90-Days in advance, first thing in the morning. Disney will start accepting advance seating reservations that far out, so to guarantee that you get a seat for the Character Experience you want, I recommend contacting Disney (1-407-WDW-DINE) very well ahead of time.
